I'm pleased to present my first origami book – 'Kawaii Origami', which includes over 25 cute origami projects ranging from easy to advanced.

Creating a proper published origami book was what I thought of as an 'unattainable goal' so I am super thankful to the people at Quarto for their help and cute formatting of the book! Kawaii Origami is published by Race Point Publishing through Quarto.
The book is in diagram format with a text description for each step. Some of the models included also have video tutorials that go with them.
Kawaii Origami was published on 2nd April 2019. An ebook version is also available on Amazon.

Kawaii Origami comes with a pack of 50 sheets of origami paper. You can also keep the paper in the back pocket of the book! -
The contents page shows there are 25 projects, some include variations too. -
The book includes quite a few full page photos, mostly on the page before, sometimes in other places! Photos on the right are a closeup of some diagrams. -
The round pot included was specifically for the cactus, but you can make them as stands for other origami such as horse or other animal, or used as boxes obviously. -
Thanks to Quarto for designing the cover, I love the font. Quarto also created cute kawaii faces throughout the book, as well as the general layout itself! -

Star bowls and woven bracelets. -
The sushi roll boxes are great little gift boxes, with the sushi 'rice' part being the lid which fits inside the outer black box. The nigiri sushi boxes (right) are lids too! -
Twinkle stars – one of the more challenging models. On the right are some mini origami drawers with lucky stars inside. -
A rainbow array of cute origami envelopes and stationery boxes. -
Cat and dog hearts on the left, you can actually use the heart bit as a pocket for a mini note, too! On the right is a woven heart on a keychain. -
The well known origami trash bin with matching scoop – perfect to clean up all the lucky stars that are now everywhere after taking these photos.
